YNAB (You Need A Budget)
Oh how I love YNAB. I started using YNAB about 10 years ago, and it is by far my favorite budgeting tool. YNAB has helped me gain control of my spending. YNAB has a bit of a learning curve, so I recommend you be patient when you give it a try.
I like the fact that it has an app, which makes easy to track spending when you are on the go.
EMPOWER (formerly Personal Capital)
Empower is a free personalized finance dashboard that gives you a picture of your finance health. You can manually add various accounts, such as investment accounts, savings, and checking accounts to Empower or link your accounts to Empower. When you link your accounts, your Empower dashboard will automatically update anytime there is an update in any of your accounts. I prefer to link my accounts to get automatic updates.
My favorite feature is the Financial planning feature. With the financial planning feature, you are able to project your retirement savings by age. You can also see a breakdown of savings at the time of the year.
DATA SCIENCE FOR ALL (DS4A)
As part of my path to financial freedom, I am designing a life I would not want to retire from. One of my strategies is to keep learning. If you are interested in data science, then you should look into Correlation One.
